Lifeline Agent

Hero Wireless Network is seeking motivated and community-focused individuals to join our team as Lifeline Agents. In this role, you will represent federal programs such as Lifeline and the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), helping eligible individuals gain access to free or discounted wireless communication services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate individuals on the Lifeline and ACP programs

  • Assist eligible customers with enrolling in free government phone service

  • Distribute phones and ensure customers understand how to use their devices

  • Build and maintain relationships with local community partners and organizations

  • Attend community events, job fairs, and outreach initiatives to promote services

  • Provide ongoing support and follow-up with customers as needed

  • Maintain accurate records and submit reports on outreach activity and enrollments

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Passion for helping underserved communities

  • Ability to work independently and manage your schedule

  • Sales or outreach experience is a plus but not required

  • Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply

LifeLine Manager

Hero Wireless Network is seeking a passionate and results-driven Lifeline Manager to lead a team of agents dedicated to enrolling eligible individuals in government-subsidized phone and internet services. This role requires a proactive leader who excels in team management, performance tracking, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, and mentor a team of Lifeline Agents and field representatives.

  • Performance Management: Set clear goals, monitor results, and provide coaching and feedback to drive enrollment success.

  • Compliance & Enrollment Oversight: Ensure all enrollments follow federal program guidelines and company standards.

  • Resource Allocation: Distribute phones, SIM cards, and enrollment tools efficiently across locations.

  • Community Outreach: Identify and secure high-traffic areas for enrollment stations, such as community centers, markets, and public events.

  • Training & Development: Conduct ongoing training to keep the team up-to-date with evolving policies and best practices.

  • Reporting: Analyze data and submit reports on enrollment metrics, team performance, and location success.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain strong communication with agents, leadership, and partner organizations.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in Lifeline, ACP, or government program enrollment.

  • Proven leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple enrollment sites.

  • Familiarity with compliance procedures and documentation requirements.
